About Us
The Lochaber Fisheries Trust was founded in 1996 to monitor and protect populations of native wild fish in the region. The Trust is a company limited by guarantee with charitable status and is governed by a board of voluntary directors.
Sarah Hadfield began working as Assistant Biologist at Lochaber Fisheries Trust in March 2024. Sarah had previously completed a 6-month internship with the Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie Rivers Trust after graduating from the University of St Andrews with a BSc (Hons) Biology degree. She has developed a passion for ecology and conservation and has discovered a love of working with fish, which led her to this post. Sarah has many interests outside of work: reading; creative writing; caring for her 2 house-rabbits; going for walks; and, probably the strangest, riding the unicycle.
